About Program
HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECSS Programme 2025-26 is an initiative by HDFC Bank aimed at supporting meritorious and financially needy students from underprivileged backgrounds. The scholarship programme is open to school students from Classes 1 to 12, as well as those pursuing diploma, ITI, polytechnic, UG, and PG (both general and professional) courses. Under the ECSS programme, students facing personal or family crises, or other financial difficulties that put them at risk of dropping out, are provided with financial assistance of up to INR 75,000 to support their education.
HDFC Bank’s social initiative ‘Parivartan’ has been a catalyst in making a difference in the lives of people through its interventions in the areas of rural development, education, skill development and livelihood enhancement, healthcare & hygiene and financial literacy.
Eligibility Criteria
For class 1 to 12 students
The students must be currently studying in Classes 1 to 12, or pursuing diploma, ITI, and polytechnic courses in private, government, or government-aided schools.
A minimum of 55% marks in the previous qualifying examination is required.
The annual family income should be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
Preference will be given to applicants who have faced personal or family crises within the past three years, which have significantly impacted their ability to bear the cost of education and put them at risk of discontinuing their studies.
Open to Indian nationals only.
For Diploma, ITI & Polytechnic students
students pursuing a diploma after Class 12 are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
A minimum of 55% marks in the class 12 is required.
The annual family income should be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
Preference will be given to applicants who have faced personal or family crises within the past three years, which have significantly impacted their ability to bear the cost of education and put them at risk of discontinuing their studies.
Open to Indian nationals only.
For Under Graduate students
The students must be pursuing graduation courses (general courses such as B.Com., B.Sc., B.A., B.C.A., etc., and professional courses such as B.Tech., M.B.B.S., L.L.B., B.Arch., Nursing) in recognised colleges or universities in India.
A minimum of 55% marks in the previous qualifying examination is required.
The annual family income should be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
Preference will be given to applicants who have faced personal or family crises within the past three years, which have significantly impacted their ability to bear the cost of education and put them at risk of discontinuing their studies.
Open to Indian nationals only.
For Post Graduate students
The student must be enrolled in a recognised college or university in India, pursuing a postgraduate course, including both general courses (such as M.Com., M.A., etc.) and professional courses (such as M.Tech., M.B.A., etc.).
A minimum of 55% marks in the previous qualifying examination is required.
The annual family income should be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
Preference will be given to applicants who have faced personal or family crises within the past three years, which have significantly impacted their ability to bear the cost of education and put them at risk of discontinuing their studies.
