National Literacy Mission and Educational Program By Zameen Foundation

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world and the most effective way to break out of the cycle of poverty. Government through its Right to Education Act India, 2009 have been making its way in enrolling and retaining children in school especially from the marginalized sector. According to the National Survey of India for Estimation of Out-of-School Children conducted in 2014, more than 60% of children dropped out before completing 3rd grade and according to the Institute for Policy Research Studies (PRS), nearly 50% of students dropped out by 11th grade.  With the existence of such staggering numbers, the proper implementation of the Right to Education Act is yet to be made. 

Zameen Foundation generated workshops and various activities, awareness amongst parents and local communities about the importance of education. Zameen Foundation also conducts regular counseling sessions to encourage parents to send their children especially girls to school and help them participate in various activities.

Objective of Educational program 

The purpose of this educational program is to establish an educational and healthiest environment in the society and make the people self-dependent. Those who get an education have higher incomes, have more opportunities in their lives, and tend to be healthier. Societies with high rates of education completion have lower crime, better overall health, and civic involvement. 

In terms of women the maternal death rates drop significantly in societies with high education rates. Women with no education at all are 2.7 times as likely to die during birth as women with 12 years of education. Putting education first in a society reducing child marriage and allows girls to make their own decisions, rather than just a future wife and mother.

Education provides students with the space and the opportunities to meet like-minded people. Education is also a way to connect across the globe with other cultures and collaborate together across borders to increasing cultural and social awareness.

Education has given a big impact on child labor also and the positive thing of education is that the child labor has gone down to an excellent extent.

Initiative of Zameen Foundation

Zameen Foundation's educational program works for people including underprivileged children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labor, children of poorest of the parents, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children. Special emphasis is given on girl education and women education, so that they and their families get empowered. As of now Zameen Foundation is working on the below education program and has taken the below initiative to spread education in the society in India.

Happy School: This program is of those people who are financially disabled and survive their life for hand to mouth on daily basis and can’t afford education expenses for their children.

Education for All: The Education for All program running for those adult people in the society who are over age and can’t go school but and wish to being educated.

Learn Then Earn: Zameen Foundation is providing technical training to learn technical and job oriented courses for lower and middle classes such.

Bright Champ: Under this program Zameen Foundation is arranging coaching classes for those students who are financially week and studying for matriculation and intermediate classes and can’t afford coaching classes fees. 

Process of this Educational program

The world has full of minded and social work kind people who step up to grow India and continue providing many such kind of social work to support the needy people. Zameen Foundation is also being supported by many good minded people who support its PAN India educational program through their direct and indirect support and cooperation.

Zameen Foundation has organized team in each area of the city who directly involves by providing education to the needy students under the supervision and management of Zameen Foundation. Zameen Foundation management and its patron along with it’s royal supporters are taking care of all the educational expenses and activities and other related expenses required to run these program.
