Scholarship Terms & Conditions

1. You must be Indian citizen and meet the conditions as per the program details (if it is a conditional offer). For candidate living outside the India and want to avail any scholarship scheme, may contact Zameen Foundation by visiting 'contact us' page of our official website.

2. The scholarship offers or Joining date of your academic course must be follow the start date and before the registration deadline.

3.  Applying for a scholarship through the Zameen Foundation App does not guarantee selection. Scholarships are awarded based on eligibility, assessment criteria, and the availability of funds decided by the organization/source who offer scholarship.

4. Scholarships are awarded based on the information provided in your online scholarship application. We reserve the right to withdraw a scholarship, if we are of the reasonable opinion that information provided is not accurate.

5. Candidate must inform the Zameen Foundation and/or its funding team of any other scholarships or sponsorship currently held, or awarded at a later date. The scholarship may be adjusted or withdrawn if other sources of funding have been awarded.

6. Seek permission and obtain consent from the funding team before making any changes to your program of study – this includes course transfers, changing the course title, suspending studies, etc. Please note that approval is not guaranteed. Where changes are made without prior approval, the scholarship will be withdrawn and you may be required to repay the scholarship in full.

7. Maintain your living and food and other expenses for the duration of your program of study, if the scholarship has no provision for these expenses. 

8. The scholarship amount must be repay on pro-rata basis, if you withdraw from your course before completion.

9. Agree to the Zameen Foundation and/or its educational/scholarship partners to contacting you during your study period for an update on how the scholarship has influenced your career. The beneficiary also has to show the proof of utilization of scholarship amount once funded.

10. In order to ensure a fair and equitable selection process, Zameen Foundation and/or its educational/scholarship partners may retain the services of a third-party scholarship administrator to select and notify scholarship recipients, to verify recipient information, and to remit scholarship proceeds to an accredited university or college. Zameen Foundation and/or its designated third-party scholarship-selection service have sole discretion of selecting scholarship recipients.

11. The scholarship is non transferrable to any other person once approved. If found, the beneficiary has to repay/refund the total amount which was given to him in the form of scholarship.

12. Where a scholarship is co-funded with an external organization or donor, we will pass on details (name, title of award, course title, academic school and other required details) to the external organization for the purpose of selection and reporting. Your contact details will might be given to an external organization or donor without your prior consent. 

13. Zameen foundation and/or its funding partner has full right to take back and/or cancel scholarship amount in case there is misrepresentation and fraud in your application

14. The Zameen Foundation and/or its educational/scholarship partners reserves the right to change the scholarship offerings at any time, including available scholarships, deadlines, requirements, award amounts or other program details.

15. Zameen Foundation will not be responsible if its educational/scholarship partner change the scholarship offerings at any time, including available scholarships, deadlines, requirements, award amounts or other program details.

16. Zameen Foundation and/or its educational/scholarship partners may use your basic identity (name and photo) for educational awareness and organization publicity purpose.

17. Scholarship winners will be contacted by post within six weeks of the scholarship application deadlines and may also be contacted by phone and e-mail.

18. Accept the scholarship by the given deadline by responding to the award notification – the Zameen Foundation and its educational/scholarship partners reserves the right to withdraw the offer of a scholarship if it is not accepted by the given deadline.

19. If winners do not reply by the date specified in the mail package, Zameen Foundation and/or its educational/scholarship partners reserves the right not to award the scholarship to the winner, and to award the scholarship to another applicant.
